Bar and Chambers is an autonomous division of the LSESU Law Society and it is the home of mooting in LSE. Whether you aim to practice at the English bar, other international bars, or excel in any other form of oral advocacy to pursue a career in arbitration, negotiation or diplomacy… you can cater B&C’s offerings to your academic and professional interests.

Throughout the academic year, we organise and run moots across all levels of experience ranging from internal ‘Practice Non Competitive’ moots (PNC) to ones hosted by our chamber and firm sponsors including, inter alia, Clifford Chance and Herbert Smith Freehills. This year, we will also be sending moot teams internationally to represent the LSE at various prestigious competitions so ensure to gain as much experience as possible to be considered. Furthermore, we frequently host renowned Barristers for panel interview events as well as enjoyable socials for our members.
